Apomorphine is a powerful alternative treatment for erectile dysfunction. We all know about the big four PDE5 inhibitors for erectile dysfunction, but what do you do when Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and Stendra do not work for you? Previously, your next step would be to move on to the injectables like Trimix but Apomorphine gives you another option.

This drug is not commonly used for erectile dysfunction though you may find it extremely effective. Your urologist may not be familiar with it even though there have been numerous studies into its effectiveness in treating erectile dysfunction. You may have to use a licensed online practitioner to get your prescription for this medication. I found that this treatment was extremely effective when Viagra and the other PDE5 inhibitor drugs failed.

In my experience, I found that doctors tend to follow the same path in treating erectile dysfunction. That path is Viagra (or other PDE5 inhibitors), then Trimix injectables and if it all fails they will suggest an implant. If this does not work for you, then you may want to give Apomorphine a try.

What is Apomorphine

First of all, Apomorphine is not a type of morphine though it is created from morphine. It is not an opiate, it does not reduce pain and it is not a controlled substance. Apomorphine will not make you test positive for opiates (source).

This treatment for erectile dysfunction works by affecting the dopamine receptors in the brain. This stimulation of the area of the brain causes the signals to be sent to cause an erection. The nerves that are stimulated by this drug signal the relaxation of the smooth muscle of the corpora cavernosa thus helping with the formation of an erection. This is different from Viagra and other PDE5 inhibitor drugs that directly cause a vascular response to relax the smooth muscle of the penis (source).

This is important because even though you are looking for the same result from Apomorphine. It works in a totally different way from Viagra, Cialis, Stendra, and Levitra. If those other erectile dysfunction medicines did not work for you, Apomorphine might still work for you. Apomorphine may be especially helpful for those with erectile dysfunction due to anxiety.

The Apomorphine that I took came as a lozenge that dissolves under the tongue. You place one of these 1/4″ x 1/4″ lozenges under the tongue and let it dissolve. I found that they dissolved in under 10 minutes and started to work in under a half hour.

Apomorphine does have a number of potential side effects. The biggest and most common of these side effects is nausea which can be extreme. This has been found to reduce in severity as your body becomes accustomed to taking the medication. Additional possible side effects include dizziness, sweating, low blood pressure, and possible fainting (source).

Why Have You Not Heard of Apomorphine

The major PDE5 inhibitors like Viagra and Cialis are much easier to take than Apomorphine. Viagra and the like come as standard pills or quick-dissolving tablets. The Apomorphine comes as a troche that needs to be refrigerated and takes several minutes to dissolve under the tongue. Apomorphine troches do not leave a pleasant taste in the mouth and the side effects including nausea can be rather severe.

All of these factors have led to Apomorphine being less desirable than Viagra and similar medications. Apomorphine would probably not be considered by anyone unless the other major oral medications had failed completely.

My Experience Ordering Apomorphine

For years, I had erectile dysfunction. Prior to finding long-term treatment methods, I had tried Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and Stendra. Like many men, I did not have great results from these drugs. They did not help me to achieve firm erections. This lack of response can be very common in men with erectile dysfunction due to diabetes.

I had moved on to using Trimix due to my lack of results from the oral medications. While I found Trimix to be effective, I did not enjoy injecting myself for obvious reasons. I came across some information on Apomorphine and found it to be an interesting possible alternative. Of course, when I asked my urologist about it, he had no idea on what it was or how it was used for erectile dysfunction.

I could not find any local doctor that would prescribe Apomorphine. I eventually found a U.S. online provider that prescribed the medication. They were affiliated with a U.S. pharmacy that filled the prescription and shipped it out to me. There are other providers for Apomorphine out there but I had the best luck with BecauseHealth. After having my information checked out by a doctor they gave me a prescription for a combination of Vardenafil and Apomorphine (20mg / 12mg). I received this shipment within a week of ordering for the price of $48.

My Experience Using Apomorphine

The medication comes as a troche that you place under your tongue to dissolve. This medication needs to be refrigerated prior to use. I found that the type that I received had a very strong menthol smell/taste that was very overpowering. Even once it dissolved, the taste would stay in the mouth for a long time. I found that it took about 10 minutes for the troche to dissolve and that it began to work on enhancing my erections within 30 minutes. The Apomorphine would remain effective for 4 to 6 hours after it started working.

I found that Apomorphine did not cause spontaneous erections like Trimix injections do. Instead, the apomorphine allowed me to easily achieve firm and hard erections with minimal stimulation. These erections would last for the duration of the sexual activity and then go down after ejaculation. Overall, it seemed like a much more natural process than Trimix injections.

As far as the side effects go, I found that it did cause nausea. The first time that I took the medication, I thought that I was going to vomit and had to sit down for a while. This effect passed within a half hour and the medicine was effective well past that time. I did not experience any other side effects and I found that the nausea became less noticeable every time that I used the medication. Eventually, I did not notice the nausea at all. Fortunately, I did not suffer from any of the additional side effects.

The Long-Term Alternative to Erectile Dysfunction Drugs

Although Apomorphine is a powerful alternative treatment for erectile dysfunction, anyone with erectile dysfunction would more than likely want a more permanent solution to the problem that does not involve pills, troches, or injections. Personally, I found that acoustic wave therapy with the Phoenix system was the long-term solution for my erectile dysfunction. This treatment helps your body return to the natural firm and hard erections. My use of acoustic wave therapy helped me to return to achieving firm and hard erections without the use of medication. In my opinion, it is the best treatment for erection quality.

Apomorphine is a powerful alternative treatment for erectile dysfunction. If the oral PDE5 inhibitor medication like Viagra, Cialis, Stendra, and Levitra do not work for you, then I recommend contacting a healthcare professional like BecauseHealth about the possibility of using Apomorphine. I found this treatment to be much more pleasant and natural than the Trimix injections. If for some reason it is not effective with you or the side effects bother you, then you can always go on to try the Trimix.

Eventually, I found that acoustic wave therapy was my long-term solution to erectile dysfunction but Apomorphine got me through the rough times until that therapy took effect. I found that it was a much better and more natural alternative to injection therapy.
