Our RestoreX Device Review
In our RestoreX device review, we found this penis traction device to be an effective method for penis enlargement and correcting the curvature associated with Peyronie’s disease. The RestoreX traction device is an FDA-registered device that was developed in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic.
The RestoreX device technique is different than what you will find with many other top penis traction devices but it provides another option for men seeking penis enlargement.
The RestoreX device uses a clamp device that locks down on the head of the penis. Other top penis traction devices use either loops or straps to secure the head of the penis or a vacuum chamber to secure the head of the penis.
The clamp design is not as uncomfortable as it might look but you definitely know that it is there. I always loop/strap-type penis extenders slightly uncomfortable and I found the RestoreX even less comfortable than they were. The vacuum chamber devices are still the most comfortable out there.
The good news when it comes to the RestoreX device is that it only has to be worn for one hour per day. This is done in two 30-minute sessions with at least 30 minutes in between the sessions. The reason for this is that the clamp does restrict blood flow to the penis head so there must be recovery time.
Session times are the same for penis lengthening and treating Peyronie’s disease unless directed otherwise by a doctor. So while the RestoreX is uncomfortable, you only have to make it through 30 minutes per session.
The RestoreX device has to be worn facing out from the body and can not be pointed down like other penis traction devices. This really limits your activities while using the device. You can sit or stand but not do anything really physical and you can not go out in public for the hour per day that you use the device.
Now we will look at the RestoreX Device as it pertains to penis lengthening and Peyronie’s disease.
The RestoreX Device for Penis Lengthening
The RestoreX device has been shown to increase penis length in studies. The RestoreX studies show an increase of 1 cm (0.4 inches) in three months and 1.6 cm (0.6 inches) in penis length in six months. This is not surprising as I have found that penis traction devices in general increase penis length.

I have found that other penis traction devices can give you much better penis enlargement results than the RestoreX but they work differently than the RestoreX device. You can check out our Top 5 Penis Traction Devices for some of these other devices.
Top vacuum chamber penis traction devices like the Total Man system or the Phallosan Forte can give you twice the lengthening results of the RestoreX but the type of commitment is different.
The vacuum chamber devices are much more comfortable than the RestoreX device but you have to wear them for six hours per day as opposed to the one for RestoreX.
You can work and go out in public with the vacuum chamber devices. They are safe, comfortable, and not noticeable under clothing. The RestoreX is noticeable when being worn as it must be pointed away from the body like an erect penis. But once again this is for an hour only with the RestoreX.
Personally, I prefer the quicker results with a device like the Total Man system or the Phallosan Forte but the RestoreX stretcher device is still effective.
The RestoreX Traction Device For Peyronie’s disease
A lot of men utilize the RestoreX traction device to correct the penile curvature that is associated with Peyronie’s disease. This device has a uniquely engineered system that can bend the penis in the opposite direction of the curve and thereby reduce the curvature over time.
For years, penis traction devices have been shown to help with Peyronie’s disease but the RestoreX really kicks it up a notch. This is the best design that I have ever seen to offset this condition. Their studies have shown an amazing 15 degrees of curvature improvement in six months.
RestoreX Device Cost
The RestoreX device cost is pretty high at $525. This is a very high-quality medical-grade device but it is at a much high price point than other comparable penis traction devices.
The Phallosan Forte is another high-quality FDA-approved device for penis enlargement and it is significantly less expensive at $379.
Another example of penis traction device pricing would be the Total Man System Ultimate Package at $120.
I believe the RestoreX device cost is worth it if you are buying it to treat Peyronie’s disease. It has a design that is just unmatched in that area.
However, if you are looking for penis enlargement, there are other less expensive devices that are at least as effective as the RestoreX device.

RestoreX Device Negatives
The RestoreX stretcher device is an excellent device overall but it does have a few negatives. The biggest negative has already been mentioned and that is the price of the device. This is one of the most expensive devices on the market and that is something that you do have to take into account.
You have to wear the RestoreX device positioned with your penis pointed straight out when you are using it for lengthening. This means that you can not do this inconspicuously. You are stuck at home for an hour each day while you use it.
If you have kids, roommates, or anyone else that you don’t want to know that you are working on penis enlargement around, you are stuck in your bedroom. You can wear loose shorts or sweats over the RestoreX device but it is going to be obvious that something is going on down there.
With other devices like the Total Man system or the Phallosan Forte, you can hide it under your clothing and go about your day. This is not the case with the RestoreX device.
You can sit or stand with the RestoreX device on but too much movement or bending will cause pain or cause the penis to slip out of the device. It is not meant to adapt to changes in body positions like other devices.
Another negative that I found with the RestoreX device was that the clamp was fairly uncomfortable when enclosing the penis head. If done right it is not painful and it is tolerable for a half hour but it is uncomfortable.
The biggest negative that I found with the RestoreX device was that penis enlargement results seemed to be slower than with other top penis traction devices. The RestoreX studies showed gains of 1 cm (0.4 inches) in penis length in three months and 1.6 cm (0.6 inches) in penis length in six months.
My results with my top penis traction devices resulted in 1.9 cm (0.75 inches) in three months and 2.4 cm (0.9 inches) in six months. Even greater increases are possible, the Phallosan study showed an increase of 3.6 cm (1.4 inches) after six months. Of course, these devices are worn for longer time periods.
RestoreX Traction Device Positives
The main positive of the RestoreX traction device is that it really works. If you use it as directed, you will see actual penis enlargement over the course of several months. That sounds simple but it is a big deal.
The next positive of the RestoreX device is that it takes less time per day than other top penis traction devices. The one hour per day that is recommended for this device is significantly less than the six hours per day that is recommended with top penis traction devices
It is kind of a trade-off, the RestoreX takes less time but restricts your movements, can not be done in public and is slightly uncomfortable. Other top penis traction devices take more time but do not restrict your movement, can be worn in public, and are very comfortable.
The biggest positive of the RestoreX device is its unique design for the treatment of Peyronie’s disease. All penis traction devices are shown to help with this condition but the RestoreX device is specifically designed to help with it.

Special Note Before Using The RestoreX
One important thing to consider before using the RestoreX penis stretcher or any device like it is erection quality. The whole idea behind these devices is to place the penis under stress which causes cell division and penis tissue growth.
This cell division and penis tissue growth are what make the penis larger over time. In order to have this process take place, you need proper blood flow bringing oxygen and nutrients to the penis cells and tissue.

How To Use The RestoreX For Penile Lengthening
Below is a quick description of how to set up and use the RestoreX device. These are not official instructions and are just meant to give you an idea of how to use the device. You can find the official instruction PDF files here.
First Time RestoreX Set Up
There are a few extra steps needed for the first time that you use your RestoreX device. The first thing that you need to do is measure your stretched penis length to select the correct extension rod.
To measure the penis use a straight ruler to measure along the top of the stretched penis. Measure from the base of the penis to the top of the penis.
There are two extension rod sizes to pick from depending on size. The device comes with the standard rod already attached. This rod will accommodate a penis with a length of between 3.75 and 6.25 inches. The extended rod is used if the penis is more than 6.25 inches.
The RestoreX device will not work for those with a stretched penis that is less than 3.75″ long and those with a penis over 9″ long will not get full traction from the device.
Once the correct rod is put into the device, the next thing is to adjust the clamp height. It is important to remember that you want to fine-tune this as you will need to wear this device comfortably for 30 minutes at a time.
Putting On The RestoreX
Start out by using a medical wrap to go around the penis where the clamp is going to attach. This would be on the bottom half of the glans (head) and the upper shaft. This will give some cushioning when you put the RestoreX device on. Do not put it on too tightly as you do not want to restrict blood flow.
Put your penis with the penis through the pelvic ring of the device. Next, you open the clamp of the RestoreX and push the main body of the device towards the pelvis so that the device is locked in its shortest position.
Then you place the penis glans in the clamp with the back of the clamp lining up just behind the penis glans. Close the clamp onto the glans. You will hear clicks as it tightens. You want to wear it so that it will securely hold the penis but it also has to be comfortable for 30 minutes.
Be careful to not clamp the device onto the shaft of the penis.
Next, you want to extend and add tension to the device by one of two methods. Method one is to release the tension rods and advance the RestoreX along the rods until you can no longer see the white bands. Method two is to advance along the rods first and then release the tension.
As with any penis traction device, if you feel pain at any time release the tension. Once the proper tension is on the RestoreX device you should no longer be able to see the white bands.
Now you keep the penis in the straight and elongated position for the prescribed amount of time. The chart below shows the session time depending on where you are in the program. Once your time is done, you can release your penis from the RestoreX device by releasing the clamp.
RestoreX Device Review Takeaway
A few quick thoughts in a summary of our RestoreX device review. The RestoreX device works to both lengthen the penis and straighten the penis curvature associated with Peyronie’s disease.
If your goal is to increase the length of your penis, the RestoreX device works but you can have better results at a lower cost with either the Total Man system or the Phallosan Forte which are our top-rated penis traction devices.
